A goal is an audience segment that you want to track, or that represents a key milestone or performance indicator for your marketing and/or sales efforts. Goals can help guide your marketing efforts or help you gauge your progress. Goals are very similar to segments, however they get pinned to the Lytics dashboard for quick reference.
Lytics helps you track the activity within each Goal segment in the “Performance Summary” section of the dashboard. As with other Lytics audience segments, Goals get updated in real-time as your users flow in and out of them. You’ll see a visual bar that indicates the percent of your user base that are in that particular Goal segment, as well as the percentage change from week to week or month to month.
Important note: Goals are a legacy feature that are no longer available in new accounts. For existing accounts that still have access to Goals, they can only be created by the master Lytics admin on your account.
