Enable API access is an option that controls the visibility of a segment to external JavaScript integrations. Our JavaScript Tag returns the API Enabled segments that a user is a member of on every page load. If you would like a certain segment to be made available to JavaScript integrations such as Google Analytics or Adroll, make sure “Enable API access” is turned on.  The “ID” field that appears represents the name that will be sent to external integrations.
